ASPR

The ASPR, located in New York City, has been conducting research on ESP and other psychic phenomena since its founding in 1885, making it the oldest psychical research organization in the United States. The ASPR research is known for exploration of ESP phenomena during altered states, such as in Ganzfeld laboratory experiments. In the early 1970s, Swann worked with researchers Karlis Osis and Gertrude Schmeidler at ASPR in experiments concerning controlled out-of-body states.
